What Can We Offer You at John Smith's Hill?

We offer a wide range of services, and activities for you to choose from.

Black History Month Programs:

In February for Black History Month we are pleased to offer two programs. The first program is designed to introduce the African World, both traditional and modern. An overview of lands, languages and cultures of East Africa will be presented. The lecturer utilizes personal experiences, music, and slides and pictures to make this program informative and exciting. Time is allowed for questions. A display of African art and literature will be available for purchase.

The second program ties in the African legacy to the African-American experience. This includes a lecture, discussion, and display of black American History as well as an interactive component including music and dance. We tailor our program to meet the needs of all age groups. We are available year round to service you. Please call to discuss fees and scheduling.
